I can take apart a level or attitude indicator, and I don't see anything suspicious. The burden of proof is on you when you suggest something unobservable (ie. the conspiracy).

There are always whistle blowers.  See history of conspiracy theories.  Once you get to over a few dozen people knowing, it is nearly impossible to keep a lid on it.

no, rigged by the FAA
Horizon level indicators are easy to make

They have been using them for Thousands of Years (the Egyptians had them).

Eg:
1) Hang the plum-bob
2) Use one edge of one right angle measure against the string of one plum-bob

You now know the horizon.

Another is a spirit level that you can get from any hardware store. More accurate ones tend to be a bit more complex, but with even basic knowledge you can usually check for tampering or even build one yourself.

One who has piloted an airplane with an attitude indicator should note that the horizon appears several degrees below the 0 degree mark.

I hold a commercial pilot's license with a multi-engine and instrument rating.

If an attitude indicator reads several degreees below the 0 mark, it means the instrument is not properly set.  There is a knob on the lower right hand side of the instrument to reset the 0 mark.  This is part of the before takeoff checklist, to check and reset the 0 mark to the horizon.  It can also change slightly during flight due to the gyroscopic effects of the instrument.  Occasionally, the pilot must reset the zero mark to align with the horizon on the indicator.

the obvious solution is to the whole debate is to send all the FE guys to space to orbit the earth  Tongue
then again they may be using the whole flat earth thing to get a very rich person who is fed up with the issue to front the large amount of money to fund it so the FE could just be an elaborate scheme to get to space for free. Shocked
