Even in round earth theory, the Earth is unlike any other close rival in almost any parameter. As the other planets are unlike each other.

if there weren't some important features that are the same for every planet we wouldn't call all of them planets, would we?

it's not important how many aspects are similar, it's important which aspects are similar

ah ok: i think you could compare the situation to two human beings (no twins). you would find countless differences if you compared them but both are human beings as some distinctive features are the same. it's similar with planets. if you look at the details you'll find that they are indeed different but some more general features like shape, ability to create light,... are the same for all bodies that we call planets. in that sense you can (from an re point of view) safely say that the earth is like all other planets as earth matches all  requirements to belong to that class of objects.

if i define a group of objects by certain features that every member of the group needs to have i don't need to look at any other features of an given object to tell if it's part of that group or not. in the sense of that definition all of members of that group are the same.
