I made a Big Turkey, Homemade baked beans, Mashed potatoes and gravy of course from the drippings of the turkey, green beans with onion and bacon, Rolls, cream cheese celery, ham rolls, cookies, apple pie. Hmmm... think there was more but this will do it

It is. Fry your bacon, and before its done add some onions to it and brown em. Then ad em to your green beans. YUMMY  Smiley

I'll try that! Needed to find a more interesting way to serve veggies as I pretty much always just steam them which gets boring.

I prefer cottage cheese with celery.

I know there's lots of things to do with veggies but I'm too lazy to figure out new ways, and I don't like them overcooked so with steaming at least I can get them right.

Indeed. Thats why I make it so the Bloke does most of the day to day cooking now and I do the special meals and the washing up, but he's been ill the last week so I done it all Sad

I like to chop up green olives and mix them with cream cheese and put it on celery.  That is yummy. 

Someone up there mentioned eating fish treated with lye, I eat corn that's been soaked in lye, mmm grits.
